Tuition & Financial Aid

Although the cost to educate each student is approximately $20,000 per year – which includes books, high quality programming, use of a personal computer, and lunch – Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School is committed to making a high-quality, Catholic college preparatory education available to qualified students who could otherwise not afford a private high school education.

Students earn 42.5% of the cost of their education through our Corporate Work Study Program. Scholarships cover 25% of the cost. These scholarships may come from individual donors, foundations, government funding, corporate giving, or other initiatives. The remaining cost of the student’s education is the family’s responsibility.

The contribution for tuition from each family will range from $1,030 to $2,575 based on family income. All students admitted must demonstrate financial need by meeting the income criteria of the Cristo Rey Network, the national organization which sets the standards for Cristo Rey schools. For admissions to the 2025-2026 school year, your family’s annual household income may not exceed the amount shown below in the first column for your household size. A limited number of students who are outside the levels shown may be considered for admission in special circumstances.
