Student Worker's Corner

Yes. All students should be 14 years old no later than September 15th.

No. Corporate Partners pay an annual fee to the Don Bosco Cristo Rey CWS office for each team of 4 students. This fee is then applied directly towards the cost to educate each child.

Don Bosco Cristo Rey provides transportation to ALL students to and from their work study placement.

No. All communications to Corporate Partners are made through the CWS office at Don Bosco Cristo Rey.

All incoming freshmen and transfer students attend a rigorous 3-week Summer Training Program called Bridge to Success before beginning their first CWSP assignment. Training includes:

• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Word & Excel

• Standard office equipment training

• Office etiquette

• Positive first impressions in the workplace

• Phone skills

• Filing and document processing

• Confidentiality & ethics in the workplace

• Workplace safety

Students also receive ongoing feedback, performance reviews, and training from partners and the CWS staff throughout the school year.
